The three companies are working together on an ambitious Truck Drivers Recruitment Project, aimed at connecting qualified and experienced professional drivers with employment opportunities across Europe.
The vision is significant: the wider project aims to create pathways for more than 600,000 truck drivers to secure employment opportunities across Europe.
The journey has already begun. The first cohort of 60 drivers is expected to travel to Germany later this year, marking an important first step in a much larger recruitment and labour-mobility initiative.
Today’s engagements in Johannesburg focused on recruitment, candidate assessment and building the partnerships necessary to ensure drivers are properly prepared to meet European employment and documentation requirements.
